US-Backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation Stops Aid Operations
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), backed by the US and Israel, is ending its aid operations after nearly six months and has already suspended its food distribution sites following a ceasefire between Hamas and Israel. The GHF, which aimed to bypass the UN’s aid system, faced criticism for operating in militarized zones, resulting in numerous Palestinian casualties. While the GHF claims success in delivering over 187 million meals, Hamas condemned its actions and called for accountability. The UN stated that the closure of GHF would not affect its operations, as it never collaborated with the organization.
