More than 32,000 Palestinians have been displaced by an Israeli military offensive in northern West Bank refugee camps, according to UNRWA. The assault began on January 21 in Jenin and spread to Tulkarem and Nur Shams, leading to mass demolitions of buildings under the guise of military necessity. UNRWA officials condemned these actions as violations of international law and called for the rebuilding of the camps. Additional military campaigns in the Tubas governorate have resulted in over 60 arrests and numerous injuries.
