Christmas parades, light festivals light up Essex County on Saturday

This weekend, Christmas light shows open throughout Essex County, with events in Kingsville, Amherstburg, Harrow, LaSalle, Devonshire Mall, Tecumseh, and Leamington. Highlights include Santa Claus Parade and opening ceremonies at Lakeside Park in Kingsville, River Lights Winter Festival and tree lighting ceremony in Amherstburg, Christmas tree lighting event in Harrow, Holiday Lights Heritage Nights in LaSalle, Santa’s arrival by helicopter at Devonshire Mall, Santa Parade in Tecumseh, and the Leamington Christmas parade at George Avenue Fairgrounds on Nov. 30.
