Vegas hotel reports flamingo theft by Canadian man to 911

A Canadian tourist has been charged with four counts of felony animal abuse after allegedly stealing a flamingo from the Flamingo Las Vegas hotel, injuring it, and taking it to his hotel room. The 33-year-old man was arrested after security observed him in the bird habitat and reported the incident. He reportedly confessed to trying to help a bird with a damaged wing, but surveillance footage showed him torturing the animal. The court has ordered him to remain in Las Vegas for upcoming proceedings.
