Sharma expressed concern over recent actions by ICE, including incidents resulting in fatalities, and emphasized the need for businesses to think critically about their roles. Pattison’s company, which purchased the property for approximately $10.4 million in 2022, is in discussions with Homeland Security regarding the sale. Other Canadian firms, such as Hootsuite and Roshel, are also facing scrutiny for their contracts with ICE.
