Boeing workers will vote on a new contract offer to end 7-week-old strike

The Boeing factory workers’ union will vote on a new contract offer from the company on Monday, which includes a 38% wage increase over four years. The strike, involving 33,000 IAM members, has been ongoing for seven weeks, halting production of Boeing jets. The union had initially demanded 40% raises over three years and restoration of traditional pensions, while Boeing remains firm on their stance regarding pensions.
