Armed man arrested at Trump golf course before president’s visit

A 38-year-old man, Jeanine John Taele, was arrested at Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes for carrying a loaded handgun and hollow-point ammunition. He was seen filming the golf course ahead of President Trump’s visit for a fundraising event. Following his arrest, authorities found a loaded pistol and additional weapons at his home, along with body armor and concerning statements. No credible threats to the public have been identified, and Taele is being held without bail.
