Cyberattack Disrupts Operations at Kelowna Airport

Operations at Kelowna International Airport (YLW) were disrupted on Tuesday evening due to a cyberattack that hijacked passenger information screens and public address systems, displaying pro-Hamas messages and Arabic chants. Although the hack was quickly contained and did not pose a threat to aviation safety, it caused delays for two flights and prompted a review by the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security.
