A rare interstellar comet is zipping through the solar system, and you can watch it today

A newly discovered interstellar comet, named 3I/ATLAS, is traveling towards the sun at 68 km/s and will be livestreamed starting July 3. With an estimated size of 10 kilometers, it poses no threat to Earth, passing closest at 240 million kilometers on October 30, before leaving the solar system next year.
