Brownstein: The Band's Last Waltz gets another spin with tribute concert

A re-creation of The Band’s 1976 farewell performance, The Last Waltz, will be presented at Le 9e in Montreal on Thanksgiving night. The event, titled I Shall Be Released, pays tribute to one of the greatest concerts of all time, featuring a lineup of talented musicians in an ornate venue atop the old downtown Eaton’s building. Montrealers will have the opportunity to give thanks and enjoy a unique musical experience in a historic setting.
