Homeowners in Toronto and Vancouver stand to earn significant income by renting their properties during the FIFA World Cup. A Deloitte report estimates that Torontonians could average $2,700 while Vancouverites could see earnings of $4,200. The analysis, commissioned by Airbnb, predicts around 146,000 tourists will visit Toronto and 204,000 in Vancouver, driving total host earnings to nearly $13 million and $18 million respectively. The tournament runs from June 11 to July 19, 2026.
