Acaden Lewis achieves milestone in record-setting season

Acaden Lewis is having a standout freshman season at Villanova, setting a new record for assists in a season with 146, breaking the previous mark of 145 set by Kenny Wilson in 1985-86. He also established the freshman record for steals, totaling 57 and surpassing Tim Thomas’ 56 from 1996-97. Averaging 12.9 points and 5.2 assists, Lewis ranks second in the Big East and has recorded six or more assists in 14 games this season.
