Transparency Statement Issued

President Donald Trump

on Sunday reversed his stance and urged House Republicans to support the release of files related to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, claiming there’s “nothing to hide.” Previously, Trump described the release efforts as a “hoax” aimed at distracting from Democratic failures. The push for transparency has gained bipartisan support, with a discharge petition initiated by Reps. Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie. Despite opposition from Speaker Mike Johnson, the measure is expected to be brought to a vote this week.
