A 27-year-old French consulate staffer was molested by a scooterist in Bandra West shortly after midnight on November 8. Following the incident, police identified and arrested 25-year-old Sunil Waghela from Dharavi within 24 hours after reviewing over 50 CCTV recordings. The consulate filed a complaint on November 14, leading to the FIR against Waghela under BNS Section 74 for assaulting the woman. Authorities are investigating whether he had been stalking her prior to the incident.
