Inmate Kane Graham Dawson ingests razor blade in prison incident
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

An unrepentant and high-risk convicted rapist, Kane Graham Dawson, 44, attempted to avoid a transfer within the prison by hiding a razor blade in his mouth. After a four-hour negotiation with a senior officer and a negotiator, he claimed he could not comply with an order to surrender the blade because he had swallowed it. This incident is not the first time Dawson has used such tactics during his 14-year sentence for raping two teenage girls. His behavior reflects a pattern of manipulation in response to prison authority.
