Eleven children were taken to Canmore Hospital after falling ill at the Canmore Inn & Suites pool on Sunday. Alberta Emergency Health Services responded with multiple ambulances but later determined that not all were needed, resulting in nine children being assessed on-site and taken by parents, while one was transported by ambulance in serious but stable condition. The pool has since been closed, and officials confirmed there is no ongoing risk to the public. The RCMP is not investigating the incident.
