Iranian Businessman Sanctioned in UK for IRGC Connections

Ali Ansari, an Iranian businessman sanctioned in the UK for financing the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, has built a property portfolio worth hundreds of millions of euros across Europe, including luxury hotels and mansions. His assets, frozen by the UK due to allegations of funding hostile activities, are owned through shell companies in various countries. Despite his sanctions in the UK, he remains unscathed by EU regulations. Ansari denies any ties to the IRGC and plans to challenge the UK’s sanctions.
