Two men were seriously injured after falling from a Ferris wheel at the Rolling Meadows music festival in Christchurch shortly after the new year. The incident occurred around 2:10 AM, reportedly while the men were swinging on the ride. Hato Hone St John’s Event Health Services team provided medical assistance at the scene. The festival is popular and was underway when the accident took place.
