Three New Zealanders stranded in Qatar during Middle East conflict

Three Auckland residents in their 70s and 80s are stranded in Qatar after their layover flight was disrupted by escalating conflicts in the region. Multiple airlines have canceled flights to and from Qatar, with several countries closing airspace following the outbreak of hostilities on Saturday (NZ time). The travelers were en route to Oslo from Auckland and inadvertently became stuck during a 10-hour layover in Doha.
