Eight civilians, including five children, were killed and 11 others injured in a drone strike by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on Al-Shartai Health Centre in Kadugli, South Kordofan, according to the Sudan Doctors Network. The attack, which also claimed the lives of three women, caused significant damage and was condemned as a violation of international humanitarian law. Meanwhile, Sudan’s army forces reportedly broke a siege imposed by the RSF on Kadugli, as the ongoing conflict has resulted in thousands of deaths and millions displaced. RSF controls much of the western Darfur region, while the army retains significant areas across the country.
