Tobacco price in Gaza reaches 100 shekels
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The cost of a pack of cigarettes in the Gaza Strip has surged above NIS 100 due to high demand and decreased supply, with some costs reaching thousands of shekels. This trend coincides with two indictments against individuals involved in a smuggling operation that transported goods, including cigarettes, into Gaza for Hamas during and after the recent war. Notably, Bezalel Zini, brother of Shin Bet chief David Zini, is a suspect in this case. His father claims the true target of the investigation is his brother, the Shin Bet head.
