The White House issued a “stern” warning to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding an Israeli strike in Gaza, which violated a ceasefire brokered by President Donald Trump. The warning followed the killing of Hamas deputy commander Raed Saad in an airstrike that resulted in four deaths. US officials indicated that Israel did not consult Washington before the attack, which has escalated ongoing violence despite the truce established on October 10. Since then, Israel has reportedly killed over 70,600 Palestinians, primarily women and children, amidst continued hostilities.
