Israel has conducted 669 airstrikes in Lebanon since a ceasefire began on November 27, 2024, averaging two strikes daily, despite a pledge to withdraw its military presence. The Alma Research and Education Center reports that the attacks, targeting Hezbollah infrastructure, resulted in 218 Hezbollah operatives killed and primarily occurred in December 2024 and March 2025. The majority of strikes were in southern Lebanon, with minimal activity reported along the contact line. Recently, a senior Hezbollah commander was killed in an airstrike in Beirut.
