The City of Wanneroo has approved $1.35 million in contracts for infrastructure upgrades along Brazier Road, marking a significant step in the Yanchep Lagoon foreshore transformation. The upgrades will facilitate the construction of a Dome cafe at the Old Yanchep Surf Lifesaving Club and are expected to be completed by mid-2027. A draft Foreshore Management Plan has also been released for public feedback, proposing additional developments like a Beach Bar and new walkways. The plan aims to enhance tourism and recreation while protecting the lagoon’s coastal character and environment.
