Woman killed by tree branch that ‘snapped’ over her in Manchester

A woman in her 40s tragically died after being struck by a falling branch from a birch tree while walking on Barlow Moor Road in West Didsbury, Manchester, around 7.15 pm. Witnesses reported that the branch fell unexpectedly during mild winds, and despite efforts from nearby doctors and emergency services, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
