Gas prices increase by 26 cents; current prices across the U.S.

U.S. gasoline prices have surged by an average of 26 cents per gallon in the past week, reaching $3.246, the highest since April 2025, driven by the ongoing Iran conflict which is constraining global oil supply. Diesel prices have also increased, now averaging $4.124 per gallon. Experts predict gasoline prices could rise another 10 to 15 cents in the coming week due to supply disruptions, including stalled shipments through the Strait of Hormuz. Seasonal demand is also contributing to the price hikes.
