Unitree, a robotics specialist, has showcased its G1 bipedal robot navigating extreme cold conditions, achieving a remarkable feat in a recent video. The G1 undertook what Unitree calls “the world’s first autonomous walking challenge for humanoid robots” in temperatures of -53.32°F (-47.4°C) while trudging through deep snow. The challenge involved the robot completing an impressive 130,000 steps, a significant milestone in robotics. This demonstration highlights the advancements in humanoid robot capabilities in harsh environments.
