United Nations peacekeepers in Lebanon are unable to conduct patrols due to Israeli strikes and Hezbollah’s rockets targeting Israel, according to a UN spokesman. With over 10,000 personnel, the peacekeeping force has been in Lebanon since 1978, with its role strengthened after a conflict in 2006.
