Ukraine says it’s developing upgraded versions of the Chinese-made Mavic drone

Ukraine has developed four upgraded versions of the Chinese-made Mavic drone to enhance reconnaissance capabilities and resist electronic warfare, in response to China’s export limitations and high loss rates. The drones, meeting NATO standards, are already being used by Ukrainian troops, with one model from Reactive Drone offering a 60-minute flight time and 2.2-pound payload capacity. These new drones aim to reduce dependence on Chinese components and improve battlefield effectiveness, although challenges around domestic production remain.
