British police have concluded that there is “insufficient evidence” to bring charges against punk-rap duo Bob Vylan for comments made about the Israeli military during a performance at Glastonbury festival. The investigation involved interviewing individuals and considering intent, context, and freedom of expression. The controversy resulted in the cancellation of a US tour and defamation proceedings against Irish broadcaster RTE.
