Train Collision Near Machu Picchu Results in One Fatality

At least one person was killed and around 30 injured when two tourist trains collided near Machu Picchu in Peru. The crash involved a train returning from the archaeological site and one en route to it, resulting in the death of railway worker Jhonathan Castillo Gonzalez. Train services along the route have been suspended, and authorities are investigating the cause of the accident. Machu Picchu, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, attracts about 1.5 million visitors annually, primarily by train.
