Trump: Ukraine peace plan not his final offer

Former President Donald Trump recently stated that his Ukraine-Russia peace proposal is “not my final offer,” urging Ukrainian President Zelenskyy to accept it by Thanksgiving. The plan suggests significant concessions to Russia, including allowing them to retain more territory and limiting Ukraine’s military size, which has drawn criticism from Ukrainian lawmakers and U.S. officials. Despite concerns, Trump views a swift resolution as crucial for his 2024 campaign, while Russian leaders have expressed support for the proposal. Ongoing discussions involve U.S. officials meeting with Ukrainian representatives to advance peace efforts.
