Trump claims he was unaware of Obama ape image on social media

President Trump recently addressed a controversial video posted on his Truth Social account that featured a racist depiction of Barack and Michelle Obama as apes. He claimed he only viewed the beginning of the video, which focused on alleged voter fraud, and did not notice the offensive content until it was brought to his attention. Despite the initial defense from the White House, prominent Republicans condemned the post, with Senator Tim Scott calling it “the most racist thing” from the administration. Trump, while denouncing the racist aspect, stated he would not apologize for the incident.
