Trump ally Ramaswamy to make major announcement about his political future

Vivek Ramaswamy will announce his 2026 Ohio governor campaign on Feb. 24 in Cincinnati, aiming to succeed GOP Gov. Mike DeWine. The 39-year-old biotech entrepreneur previously ran for president on an “America First 2.0” agenda and was a top Trump supporter. Ramaswamy faces competition from Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost and potential candidate Lt. Gov. Jim Tressel in the Republican primary, while Democrat Dr. Amy Acton is also in the race.
