However, new polling revealed that nearly two-thirds of voters believe leaving the EU five years ago has been a failure, with 55% wanting to rejoin and 62% considering Brexit a failure. Griffith argued that Brexit had benefits such as 73 trade deals, but Phillips pointed out that most were rollovers and only 3 in 10 Brits now support leaving the EU, the lowest since the 2016 referendum.
