Arthur Frommer, the travel guide innovator, passed away at the age of 95 due to complications of pneumonia. Frommer started writing about travel while in the U.S. Army in the 1950s, and his guidebook “Europe on 5 Dollars a Day” became a best-seller in 1957. His daughter Pauline now leads the Frommer’s brand, known for its guidebooks, social media presence, podcasts, and radio show, continuing his legacy in the travel industry.

Juhl: Will Santa's letters to children be delayed by the strike at Canada Post?
Santa has a history of supporting unions since the Great Elven Uprising of 1884. Despite the Canada Post strike, he is expected to be prepared with pen and paper when letters from Canadian children start arriving in mid-November.
