House Oversight Committee Releases Epstein Estate Images
On Wednesday, House Democrats released over 150 images and several short videos of Jeffrey Epstein’s Virgin Islands estate, coinciding with Ghislaine Maxwell’s legal arguments against unsealing grand jury materials in her case. The images, taken during civil litigation in 2020, depict various areas of the estate, including a room with a dentist chair and a blackboard with notable words. The release has drawn criticism from Republicans for being selective and sensationalist, as similar materials had already been published. Meanwhile, Maxwell’s attorneys argued that unsealing the transcripts could impact her chance for a fair retrial.
