The Justice Department has charged 21-year-old Baron Martin from Arizona with terrorism-related offenses as part of an investigation into the online predator network known as “764.” This indictment, which includes 26 additional charges related to child exploitation and cyberstalking, is the first of its kind against a member of 764. While 764 has not been officially designated a terrorist organization, the government believes its members engage in terrorist activities. Authorities warn that these predators coerce teens into harmful behaviors, including self-harm and creating graphic content.
