HMV, the iconic music retailer, is set to open three new stores in Peterborough, Cork, and The Hague, marking a significant comeback after previous administrations in 2013 and 2018. The brand has shifted its focus from traditional media to vinyl, pop culture merchandise, and live performances, leading to a steady recovery and recent openings in places like Solihull and Belfast. Managing director Phil Halliday emphasized the importance of creating community spaces for fans. HMV aims to expand further in Ireland and mainland Europe, following its rescue by Sunrise Records in 2018.
