Cortnie Harris, 32, and Corvanntay Baptiste, 38, were arrested for aiding inmates who escaped from a New Orleans jail, with five still at large, including a convicted killer. Harris allegedly transported escapees and communicated with them, while Baptiste provided food to one fugitive. Orleans Parish Sheriff Susan Hutson, facing backlash for the escape and security lapses, has suspended her reelection campaign and accepted responsibility, as investigations into the jailbreak continue.
