Stellantis is in a legal dispute with Canadian supplier Peterson Spring over brake rotor prices, which could close U.S. assembly plants. Peterson claims it cannot produce the rotors at the current price and has threatened to halt shipments unless Stellantis pays double the contracted amount, potentially causing severe disruptions. An Ontario court may appoint a third party to manage the situation as Stellantis seeks alternatives, which could take two years. Both companies temporarily agreed on a payment plan to continue part shipments until November 17.
