Sotomayor’s Wabi Sabi is the top record of 2026

Sotomayor, a sibling duo from Mexico City, has released their new album “Wabi Sabi,” their first since 2020’s “Origenes.” The album features a blend of genres, including afrobeat, cumbia, and electro pop, characterized by a fun and chaotic sound. Notable tracks like “Vida” showcase Paulina’s vocals over infectious beats, while the production reflects a shift towards distortion and creativity. “Wabi Sabi” is available on major streaming platforms.
