Brookton Elects New Councillors and President

Voters in the Shire of Brookton elected three novice councillors—Kerry Toop, Gary Crouch, and Peta Harben—during a narrow election on October 18, with all three set to serve until October 20, 2029. Rod Wallis was elected unopposed as shire president, following the exit of long-serving councillor Katrina Crute.
