Severe storms, snow chances both in Chicago forecast – NBC Chicago

Chicago is set to experience a mix of seasons on Wednesday and Thursday, with severe thunderstorms and snow possible. Wind gusts out of the south will increase throughout Wednesday, bringing a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the morning. The Storm Prediction Center warns of a “slight” risk of severe weather, including damaging winds, hail, and isolated tornadoes, with rain transitioning to snow overnight Wednesday into Thursday.
