Seven Andhra Pradesh Police Service personnel promoted as IPS officers

Seven Andhra Pradesh Police Service (APPS) personnel were promoted to Indian Police Service (IPS) officers by Chief Secretary Neerabh Kumar Prasad, with approval from the President of India for vacancies in the 2022 and 2023 Select List years. The officers, including B. Umamaheswar and N. Sridevi Rao, were allocated to the Andhra Pradesh cadre, with one officer, S.V. Sreedhar Rao, provisionally included pending the State government’s integrity certificate approval as per IPS regulations.
