In January 1985, mixed skeletal remains were found in Malabar, Florida, later identified as Jeanette Marcotte, missing since the early 1980s, and Kimberly Walker, linked to suspected serial killer John Crutchley, known as the “vampire rapist.” Although Crutchley was convicted of rape and kidnapping, he died in prison without being charged for homicide. The identities were confirmed through DNA analysis, but the circumstances of their deaths remain unclear. Investigators continue to seek answers regarding Marcotte’s disappearance from Saskatchewan and her connection to Florida.
