Russia says Ukraine ‘multiplying’ energy attacks despite US-brokered moratorium

Russia’s defence ministry accused Ukraine of increasing attacks on Russian energy infrastructure, striking targets 14 times in the last 24 hours, despite a U.S.-brokered moratorium, which Ukraine’s military called “fake”. Both sides have accused each other of violating the deal, with Ukraine denying the reports of attacks and stating they are only targeting military sites. Separately, Ukrainian drones reportedly struck industrial facilities in Russian regions, while a Russian strike on the Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih resulted in casualties, prompting conflicting statements from both sides.
