Ukrainian drone attack in Kherson kills 24, Russia reports

Russia has accused Ukraine of killing at least 24 people in a drone attack on a hotel and cafe during New Year celebrations in a Russian-controlled part of Ukraine’s Kherson region. Russian officials, including the governor of the region, claimed the attack was deliberate and targeted civilians, resulting in many deaths and injuries. The Russian Foreign Ministry labeled the attack as a war crime and blamed Ukraine’s supporters in the West. Meanwhile, Ukraine did not comment on the accusations but claimed to have conducted strikes on Russian oil facilities in retaliation.
