Prince Andrew, the second son of Queen Elizabeth II, has been stripped of all royal titles due to his connections to the Jeffrey Epstein scandal and allegations of sexual abuse, now being referred to as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. Following his voluntary renunciation of the Duke of York title earlier this month, Buckingham Palace confirmed that he can no longer use any royal titles. This decision comes after Virginia Giuffre’s allegations, and Andrew must also vacate his Royal Lodge residence. He is not the first royal to lose titles; historical precedents include King Edward VIII and Prince Michael of Kent.
