Convicted murderer Shaine March, 47, has been sentenced to a minimum of 42 years for the brutal murder of his pregnant girlfriend, 32-year-old Alana Odysseos, who he stabbed 23 times in July 2024. Alana, who was expecting their third child, suffered from previous trauma and had expressed concerns about March’s behavior before the attack. Despite his history of violence, including a prior murder conviction, probation services stopped monitoring Alana after March falsely claimed their relationship had ended. Alana’s mother condemned March as “evil” and expressed a desire for him to remain in prison for life.
